Veterinarian ophthalmologist, ophthalmologist veterinarian, veterinary ophthalmologist specialist
What do these terms mean?
XXI. century
The XXI. century transformed Hungarian veterinary ophthalmology. Veterinary ophthalmology is an independent branch of veterinary science, The term dog ophthalmologist, ophthalmologist veterinarian has become general among pet keepers.
Specialization
In addition to theoretical knowledge, this specialization requires an extremely serious tool-equipment background. One can be an eye specialist if the means are available to examine the eye in detail and to treat it in case of illness.
Human ophthalmology
From human ophthalmology, state-of-the-art tools have migrated to the specialist toolbox of the veterinarian. The eye provides 90% of the information from the outside world to the animal, so examining the eye and its health is extremely important.
Our practice is specialized, the main field of activity is veterinary ophthalmology, our colleagues are called veterinary ophthalmologists, ophthalmologists, as in many other places in the country in specialized practices, but it should be noted that there is no veterinary ophthalmologist training in Hungary. We gain our knowledge at conferences, from human specialists, at lectures at the University of Human Medicine, which we transfer to veterinary medicine and thus help the farmers and their dear animals who turn to us.
